About Me

During my 25-year media career, I've held multiple senior editorial roles on international luxury titles including Harper’s Bazaar, Women’s Fitness, Grazia, and InStyle, my native Australia as well as the UK and UAE.

I grew up in the idyllic beachside town of Port Macquarie and am a passionate storyteller who specialises in finding unique and captivating angles to the tales I tell, be they through a style, culture, wellness, or human-interest lens.

After starting my media career as a journalist for a national medical newspaper, I followed my passion for magazines to London, and within a decade held the position of launch editor-in-chief of luxury fashion bible Harper’s Bazaar Arabia.

In 2012, after returning to Sydney and assuming the deputy editor role at Harper’s Bazaar Australia, I successfully conceptualised and helmed the Australian edition of Women’s Fitness magazine, which was awarded 'Launch of the Year' at the 2013 Publishers Australia Excellence Awards.

Since then, I've held the role of features director of Australia’s highest-selling luxury fashion title, InStyle, and was fashion features director across print and online for Grazia Australia. I was the on-stage MC for the Style Sessions at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Edition 2016 to 2019, and have hosted multiple fashion and beauty workshops at Westfield centres across Sydney.

Currently, I'm the the Media & Communications faculty course coordinator at The Fashion Institute, part of the Institute of Creative Arts & Technology, Sydney, where I also lecture fashion and lifestyle journalism. I'm also contributing beauty editor for Body+Soul, Australia's most-read wellness publication with more than 1.4 million weekly readers.

I live in Balmain with my husband and two children, and am available for freelance writing, editing, content strategy, lecturing, and events hosting work.
